Ashley James "AJ" Bananan is a tribute and one of the main agtagonists in the 102nd Hunger Games. He was also a main threat due to being a career tribute. He was a main character and played a very inportant role in the story.

AJ was born to a schizophrenic mother and a even more mentally unhinged father. But they loved AJ. When AJ was three, his father was killed in an accident involving a tonne of liquid mercury. He never got over it. His mother fell into a deep depression, never caring for AJ. He fended for himself, keeping himself alive, pouring on the teressa. But every action has a consequence.
Physical Appearance[]
AJ has straight, dark hair that flops to the right side of his head. He has dark eyes and very dark, high arched eyebrows. He has a generally sullen look about him and is always in a bad mood. He doesn't smile often and when he does, he looks strange.
Relationships[]
Rachel Edmond[]
Rachel is AJ's district partner and friend. They may have something romantic between them, but this is never touched upon. They get off on the wrong foot at the reaping, when both think the other is weak. But as they progress through the story and closer to the arena. The two find great friends in each other and each vowed to protect each other from tributes in the arena. The one thing that they don't have in common is a hatred for Alex. Rachel, instead of having a deep hatred for Alex, has a deep hatred for Cara. Both feel very strongly about one and other, and so the other would be destroyed shall the other die.
